Ok...
So the employment figures were down....2nd quarter GDP was down... I still don't have a job
George Bush in a speech today says, " I say we have a strong economy, and it's getting stronger."
Stronger than what exactly? I swear he's using some sort of a jedi mind trick. He says it, we know he's wrong and yet no one really feels like they should say something.
I swear to god, if he was Nero and Rome was burning, he'd step out in front of it and say, "Everything's ok" and we'd smile and nod and wonder who was having a bar-b-que.
Just two weeks ago in a speech Bush said we are safer than ever with him as our President. Last week he said "we're in great danger."
"Great danger?" That doesn't sound safe. That sounds like the kind of warning teenagers would get at an abandoned summer camp before they start to take their tops off and have sex.
I don't mean for this site to become another Bush bashing arena, but he just provides so much material.
